Awesome Toronto events happening April 15-17

Friday night’s pretty stacked with parties this weekend, including one that celebrates the end of the school term before class is out for the summer, and another that harkens back to the glory days of some, circa 2002. All part of the weird and wonderful events happening in Toronto this weekend, April 8-10.

 

Super-Duper Show

Dress up as your favourite super hero while perusing super hero-inspired artwork at this gallery event. Don’t have a costume? Cosplay costumes for rent at the door for just $5. Best costume wins $100, plus you can check out paintings, sculptures and installations by over 80 artists.

Designer Pop-Up Sale

Hop City Beer Bingo

The first beer bingo event went so well they came back with a second. It involves craft beer, bingo and prizes… which may or may not include Jays tickets.

90s Video Dance Party

Get your flat top touched up: There’s an all-90s dance party happening that includes a $100 prize for the best 90s costume. 90s music videos, 90s tunes and even 90s-themed drink specials? Plus live 90s music by Loving in the Name Of. Proceeds from the night support Girls Rock Toronto.
