Toronto’s getting on board with Halloween, with some haunted events happening this weekend, plus a horrendously foul-mouthed improv show and none other than an all-Bey dance part-ay. Here are some of the awesome events happening this weekend, October 9-11.
Bey Bey Dance Party
Get out those bodysuits and brush up on your Single Ladies dance – this party is seriously just a Beyonce dance party and it goes until 2 am!
When to go: Friday, 10 pm-2 am
Where at? Studio Bar, 824 Dundas
Tickets: $10
Haunted Toronto Scavenger Hunt
http://www.urbancapers.com/haunted-toronto/
The scary version of a scavenger hunt sounds just plain fun. Bring your flashlight and a teddy bear for comfort – instead of finding hidden items along the way, you’re solving clues and digging up answers to creepy and funny questions. Learn about TO’s haunted history, like the insane asylum that now houses politicians. Teams are two to six people.
When to go: Friday, 7-9:3- pm
Where at? TBA
Tickets: $30
Istvan Kantor’s House of Horror
https://www.facebook.com/events/675593369243925/
Like an art exhibit gone wrong, this Friday night event happens in an apartment that’s been transformed into an art showing of sorts, but according to the description: “New works will be created in a performance at the opening. There will be blood.” So there you go. There’s something about signed, discarded mattresses, too.
When to go: Friday, 6-9 pm for the opening performance, and Saturday and Sunday, 2-6 pm
Where at? 97 Walmer Rd. Apt. 1
Tickets: unknown
Filthy

This improv performance under Bad Dog Theatre pits four against one as they, a truly uncouth tribe attempt to turn the last fine improvisor standing to the dark side. It’s called a no-rules improv cabaret, and could be worth a few laughs.
When to go: Saturday, 9:30 pm
Where at? Bad Dog Theatre, 875 Bloor W
Tickets: $10
